The Khalsa Rescue, a community whose guiding principle is “Guardianship” to whom abuse, neglect or ill treatment of animals matter, therefore, we humbly ask people who treat animals and human with care, respect and compassion to come forward to persuade the Indian Government to fulfil our vision.
Cruelty against stray animals is on the rise in India amid lack of effective laws, therefore, strays in Delhi is a vexing issue for residents because existing Indian Government policies to control/limit the surplus of animals as well as educate the general public about how to prevent the overabundance are ineffective.
Khalsa Rescue’s belief is “Humans should conduct themselves through life with love, compassion, and justice. Becoming one and being in harmony with God implies that humans endeavour to live in harmony with all of God's creation.”
