The Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programme aims to manage and reduce stray dog/cats population within a designated area and its associated nuisance.
Cruelty against stray animals is on the rise in India amid lack of effective laws, therefore, strays in Delhi is a vexing issue for residents because existing Indian Government policies to control/limit the surplus of animals as well as educate the general public about how to prevent the overabundance are ineffective.
The Khalsa Rescue, a community whose guiding principle is “Guardianship” to whom abuse, neglect or ill treatment of animals matter, therefore, we humbly ask people who treat animals with care, respect and compassion to come forward to persuade the Indian Government to bring effective measures:
1. Opening of Regional Subsidised Stray Sterilise Clinics.
2. To see that existing ”Trap, Neuter, and Release" (known as TNR) program runs flawlessly.
3. Make Delhi Zero Rabies Zone
These suggested measures will benefit Delhi and the residents as it will keep stray population under control. Our contribution for strays’ welfare is through bringing volunteers and resources (financial aid/clinics/sponsors/educational institutes) to fulfil our vision.

Neutering is the surgical removal of an animal's reproductive organs. In India, neutering is sometimes called "Sterlization".A more specific term for this procedure is "spaying" for female animals and "castration" for male animals. Spaying a female animal involves the removal of the uterus and ovaries. Castration of male animals involves the removal of both testicles. These are routine operations which require a general anaesthetic; patients usually recover quickly after the surgery.
NO! NO! NO! No, it shouldn’t if exercise and diet is monitored appropriately. Contact us at +91-97168 42244 for sterilisation for strays in your area.
