A significant gathering aims to educate and provide 'Buddy Bags' to the underprivileged younger generation, fostering awareness that community animals can be our true companions.
An interactive animal welfare workshop at Jaspal Kaur Public School. The session engaged students with valuable lessons on compassion, responsibility, and respect for animals. Through interactive session and discussions, children learned about the importance of animal care, adoption, and welfare. The workshop was a huge success, leaving the students inspired to make a positive impact on animals in their communities.
At Volfest 2025, our young performers took the stage not just to entertain, but to inspire. Through their powerful act, they shed light on an urgent issue—the lives of countless stray dogs and cats who live without homes, food, or care.
Their performance was a heartfelt tribute to the voiceless beings around us and a rallying call to action.
Every small step towards kindness creates a better world for animals.
Let’s stand together to build a compassionate and safe future for every animal.
We work tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate, and provide a safe space for street dogs. But our fight doesn’t stop there. We aim to raise awareness, educate communities, and promote responsible pet ownership.
Join us in our cause. Together, we can make a difference, one life at a time. Let’s end the cycle of abuse and give our street dogs the love, care, and dignity they deserve.

Dogs feel emotions just like us! To ensure positive interactions, remain calm if approached off-leash, approach slowly, avoid startling them, and respect their space. Listen to their body language—kindness and empathy create a safer world for all! 🐶❤️

The ocean gives us life, regulates our climate, and is home to countless species — including many voiceless beings we vow to protect. At Khalsa Rescue Foundation, we stand for every life, on land and in water.
This Ocean Day, let’s promise to:
The unspoken bond
A sun-drenched field, a canvas of green,
where love’s quiet current flows unseen.
It's felt in a glance, a subtle brush of fur,
a shared understanding that makes no blur.
The playful tumble of a puppy’s glee,
a cat’s low vibration, a hum of ease.
It’s a mother’s watchful eye, a father’s gentle lead,
nurturing a bond born from a primal seed.
Through seasons of hardship and of light,
their hearts remain tethered, shining bright.
A silent promise, a lesson pure and deep,
a trust that all of nature's creatures keep.

Today I speak, not just to say,
But to remind the world on Veg Day—
That every meal is more than food,
It tells a story, harsh or good.
Behind that meat upon the plate,
There lies a life cut down by fate.
A cow that cried, a lamb that bled,
A bird that died where it was bred.
We take their milk, their flesh, their skin,
Turn living beings to profit and sin.
Their voices silenced, their freedom gone,
While we still feast and move along.
But what if love could guide our choice?
What if we heard the voiceless voice?
A plate of greens, of fruits, of grain,
Brings health, compassion, none in pain.
No need for slaughter, no need for fight,
Nature gives plenty, pure and bright.
Each seed we sow, each root we grow,
Is life we nurture, not overthrow.
So let’s not hide, let’s dare to say,
The truth out loud on this Veg Day:
Killing is cruel, and kindness is right,
The world needs change—begin tonight.
Choose life, choose love, choose Earth’s way,
And stand for the voiceless, this World Veg Day. 🌍🥦✊

Be - Zubaan is an initiative to be the ‘Zubaan’ of the strays by showing them compassion, and to embrace inclusion through education, and developing empathy in the school curriculum. Empathy is the ability to understand and share another soul’s experiences and emotion, hence, introducing kindness towards community animals at the tender age would nurture and strengthen the roots eternally.
Animals are a great way to make empathy a more focused and intentional presence. Not only do animals teach responsibility, planning, and problem-solving, but they allow us to model empathetic behavior. Animals provide means to see beyond ourselves to others, and through practicing the act of kindness and learning to gently handle the animals, students are better equipped to care.
Earlier the better as we believe, our target audience are elementary level students catered with different activities as per their levels. The primary theme will be related to animals only. A few conducted activities are given for your reference, and there are many more –
To conduct “Be- the Zubaan” the school is requested to act as a platform to begin the journey of care: -
1. “Be- the Zubaan” a seminar conducted on compassion towards community animals help motivate students to love, care and fight for the rights of strays.
2. To build faith all the participants will receive a “Participation Certificate” as a token of Appreciation upon successful completion of the activity. In addition, views will be shared by professionals on compassion and empathy on the result day which will help build and strengthen the future generation’s vision.
